Diatribune is a progressive community blog and social networking site. It is an online gathering place for progressives to meet and build a community of people with common interests and political agendas. Diatribune is first and foremost a political blog offering commentary on events from the perspective of progressive Democrats. Beyond that Diatribune is a fully functioning social networking site for progressives to organize and promote candidates for office, political agendas, or just share thoughts and ideas that promote progressive values. Diatribune is an open community. All progressives are invited to join the community and add comments to existing publications, publish content, organize tribes of common interests, and utilize all of the other social networking features the site offers.
