Today, as we come together once again in this great city, we raise our voices in unison to say to President Bush, to Vice President Cheney, to other members of the Bush Administration (past and present), to a majority of Congress, including Utah’s entire congressional delegation, and to much of the mainstream media: “You have failed us miserably and we won’t take it any more.”"

I’ll vote for the person who can say that Democrats will do what Democrats are supposed to do– stand up and fight for equality for all, and mean it. That they will defend civil liberties and work to represent the interests of people who need it the most, the low wage earners and middle class. This used to be the “platform” of the Democratic Party. I hope it can be again.

Even after the fiasco voting errors of 2000 and 2004 there are states in our Union without verifiable paper audits of votes. I find this appalling. To find out if your state is one of them go to http://www.verifiedvoting.org. There just is no excuse for not having verifiable votes in this day and age! Let’s get on this folks. We’ve elections coming up.

I'm thinking that you need to change your slogan to the POWER of TRUTH! Fight on friends before the New World Order consumes us. President Bush and cronies are trying to change the line in the sand between free speech and press with his Military Commission Act of 2006. Let us unite our voices against this crap.
