Hypocrites in Texas House Pass Marriage Legislation

Wednesday, April 11, 2007 the Texas House passed legislation to raise the cost of a Marriage License from $30.00 to $100.00. To strong-arm couples to submit to an eight-hour class on marriage, the fee is waived for participants!

Take Action to Get Anti-NAIS Bills Passed

There are two Anti-NAIS Bills in the Texas House of Representative.

TTC & NAIS Unraveling - Part 3


Premise Registration of pets and farm animals is a FEDERAL GOVERNMENTAL initiative that is worming its way through state legislatures across American. In 2005 a one page bill was passed by the Texas Legislature and signed into law. It has not been implemented yet. Texans who are furious about the Trans Texas Corridor Toll Road land grab are standing with Ranchers who are opposed to the implementation of mandatory microchip ID for animals and premise registration.

Toll Scheme Unravels - Part 2 - With NAIS fuels inflation

Texans of all generations descended on Austin last week demanding repeal and or defeat of legislation which will fuel inflation. They didn't mention inflation out right. Instead they talked about the impact implementation of the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) passed by the Texas Legislature in 2005 will have on farm and ranch management. They spoke out against the loss of family farms and ranch and farm land to the Trans Texas Corridor and other proposed private/public toll road projects.
