Unfortunately, due to the complicity of the Mainstream News Media, America is at a crossroads – one that most citizens aren’t even aware of; our MSM is run by corporate interests, and even though some reporters would give anything to tell us the truth, they are stifled from reporting the real news by their corporate masters. We have one or two reporters that deserve the Medal of Freedom for their honesty and tenacity, like Keith Olbermann for instance – but his audience is too small to make a real difference, and the news I’m speaking of should dominate the media, in print , on the radio and on all of the nightly news reports, but instead, what we hear are bits and pieces of so-called news that fail to sound the alarm that America is dying, not a slow death, but our economy is close to a complete collapse, and if Bush and Cheney have their way, World War III could begin at any moment. Yes, it’s that serious, yet the MSM refuses to tell Americans the truth, traitors and cowards for refusing to honor their own beliefs in journalism and protecting the freedom and democracy that a “free press” traditionally provided to its subscribers. The framers of our constitution understood that a free press was essential to the survival of our democracy, and even on our own government’s website, these words are immortal and as true today as when our constitution was first written:

I thought I had seen it all, and then I received an email from Robert Wexler with a copy of the Sun Sentinel's Editorial titled "Impeachment not worth another minute of anybody's time." When I first read the Editorial, I though it was a joke; since the Sun-Sentinel is in Southern Florida, I though maybe Disney World was involved and Goofy was the Editor, or at worst, they had allowed the White House to write their Editorial. It was the worst take on our current situation that has ever graced (or tarnished) an American newspaper, and those of us who understand the crimes of the Bush administration were likely wondering if the Sun-Sentinel's Editorial Board were using some of that cocaine that Florida is so famous for "importing" through it's many ports and hidden beaches.

To add insult to injury, the Sun-Sentinel ran a poll on whether Bush should be impeached, obviously sure their readership approved of their hipocracy, but hands down, the readership themselves rejected their poorly crafted Editorial and gave them a smack-down they sorely deserved, and I applaud the inhabitants of Southern Florida for posting their opinions and rejecting an editorial that was ridiculous and unfortunately, exposed the Editorial Board of the Sun-Sentinel of rank partisanship and a failure to understand the mood of the American people - even in a Red state like Florida. But first, these are excerpts from an editorial that appears as if it was written by Carl Rove or Dick Cheney, although if either of those had written it, I'm guessing that it might have made some sense, whereas as it was written, we have to ask ourselves if the Sun-Sentinel's Editorial Board was high or drunk when they attempted to "spin" the obvious crimes of the Bush administration:

Impeachment not worth another minute of anybody's time

Time Magazine recently ran an article that attempted to educate Americans on how they could survive a natural disaster, however, it was largely ignored, and Americans are still unprepared for a disaster that is inevitable - and this prediction is based on sound scientific theory. Further, there are more large earthquakes occurring all over the world, but most of these never show-up in the MSM, and we need to ask ourselves why? To those of us that track these events, it's obvious that something huge is brewing, but "what" remains to be seen, but the writing is on the wall, except no one appears to be listening or connecting the many dots that may spell disaster for the American public! The Time article is well worth the read, but what it doesn't spell-out is that America could very well experience a "China-style" disaster - and we are grossly under prepared to weather such a disaster, even if it was half as bad as what China experienced. We look back at Katrina and groan at FEMA's incompetence, but the disaster in New Orleans pales in comparison to what may await us on the horizon.

How to Survive A Disaster

What is wrong with the Congress of the United States? Are they asleep at the wheel, or are they cowards, afraid to fulfill their duty to the American people? It's about time for the people of the United States to demand answers! The news and Internet is filled with stories that demonstrate, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that President Bush has committed high crimes and possibly treason, yet Congress remains silent, apparently cowed into submission by a Presidency that for all practical purposes, is now a full-blown dictatorship and is flaunting our laws, trampling upon the constitution, and is publicly defying every rule of law - and Congress is still mute, refusing to do anything to stop Bush and Cheney's deliberate goose-stepping the country into another war in the Middle-East.

There is something in the air, so tangible you can almost feel it, and those Americans who are awakening by the millions are beginning to understand the Bush administration and some of our largest corporations are enemies of the people, not their allies or friends! Even the Mainstream News Media, who has been subservient to the Bush administration, is beginning to rebel, not significantly enough to bring about their instant downfall, but in graduated steps – almost if they were attempting to gauge whether their actions will be heralded or condemned by the public. I have stated over and over again they have betrayed the people by publishing propaganda and refusing to address the many issues that are destroying this nation – but even I sense the beginning of change, and in these days when people are awakening, Bush and his minions pose a greater danger than when they held an impenetrable hold on the MSM and the majority of the people. Animals and criminals, especially when they are cornered, always pose the greatest danger, and in these days of America’s re-awakening, those at the helm of power are becoming desperate to protect themselves from arrest and prosecution. Now, more then ever, it’s a matter of our survival as a nation to keep up the pressure and laud those who are showing the courage to fight the most dangerous enemy this nation has faced in over 200 years!

Time Magazine posted a revealing article on the possibility of the Bush administration starting a War with Iran before President Bush and Darth Cheney slither out of office. The article was discussing Congressional hearings in regard General David Petraeus's confirmation as head of the U.S. Central Command, however, Yossi Kuperwasser, who was the former commander of Israel's Central Command of the Israeli Defense, seemed to show his "Freudian Slip" as a remark he was quoted as saying seems to sum-up Israels intentions and their reliance on the United States for their national security:

Bombing Iran: The Clamor Persists

As a nation, we are all being gutted by high fuel prices, food costs that are rising so rapidly that the "average American" is experiencing difficulty in keeping food on the table for their families - and the sub-prime crisis and subsequent collapse of several corporations that were once household names is rapidly causing the collapse of our entire economy. Progressive and Liberal writers, now often joined by Republicans as well, have been attempting to organize the people to participate in a general strike - but as usual, the mainstream news media refuses to tell America the truth - and the people remain unaware that the worst is yet to come, and that as a nation, the Bush administration is playing God with all of our lives... "The Decider" has ignored the majority of the people and has demonstrated, time and time again, that the average American is meaningless in the scheme of his quest to dominate and enslave America, breaking us down to the point that people find it hard to attend peaceful protests because they can't afford the gas to travel where they are needed. I noted in an article that appeared on RAW Story that many truckers in South Dakota couldn't attend a planned protest because they couldn't afford the fuel - which is obviously the intent of destroying the American economy. Destitute people cannot risk a day or a few hours of their wages as they live from check to check - and its been planned that way as the government uses food and fuel as a weapon against the American people!

The above may seem like a bold statement, but I believe it's true. The United States of America is operated and kept alive by the American people, not the politicians that rape, pillage, and spend our money and our most precious resource, America's brave soldiers that fight these illegal wars. Many of our "volunteer military" are not in the fight because of patriotism - but to support their families and seek GI benefits that will allow them to attend college when they leave the armed services.

Our economy is already in ruins, food and gas are becoming luxuries to the poorest families in America, and the middle-class is disappearing faster than Bush's approval ratings. Millions of us are facing foreclosure while the oil companies post profits that are obscene - and still receive huge government subsidies. The average American is now becoming aware that Bush and Cheney are war criminals, yet Congress refuses to impeach them, even though there is a mountain of evidence that supports their immediate impeachment, indictment, and incarceration for breaking our own and international laws. Congress is worthless, and as bad as Bush's ratings are, Congress rates worse, symptoms that the public has lost respect and hope that any of them will find the courage to do what's right! The only thing left to stop the destruction of our country and another war is the people themselves - but first, they have to know what to do. As we stated over a year ago, its time that America's premier alternative news sites, Blogs, and every individual on the Internet get busy and come together in solidarity to take back our country.

On March 31st, we published an article entitled Russian Intelligence Services State US Is Preparing For Attack On Iran. We were not the first to break the story, and in fact, were behind the curve and found the story posted on the Digg Community. The article was well received, however, we noticed that it was being read by an enormous amount of state governmental agencies as well as a "who's who" of federal entities - many of whom followed every link and spent a substantial amount of time reading, and then making return visits to the same article. It ls unconscionable that our Mainstream News Media hasn't followed-up on and reported facts that indicate the United States is on a clear path to war with Iran:

Let's hope the below information is incorrect, however, if it's true that another carrier group and four (4) nuclear attack subs are bound for the Middle-East (Follow the link to Digg) - and their assessment that we have reached pre-invasion levels in regard our naval presence in the area, this is news that should be taken seriously. Congress just came back into session, and if this report is true, it's time to start the impeachment hearings now, while we still have time:

Millions of Americans have been presented with a video of Senator Obama's Pastor when he angrily stated "God Damn America" and alleged that AIDS was a man-made disease aimed at blacks in Africa and the United States. Reverend Wright was promptly branded as a conspiracy nut and radical - but now it appears that he might have been half-right in his belief that AIDS was man-made, although evidence now suggests it wasn't made to target blacks, but instead, a much worse threat (sic) to America - the growing gay community:

For the past seven (7) years, the Mainstream News Media has favored the Bush administration and has refused to publish facts and report upon issues that are critical to the survival of Democracy in America. Their bias and downright refusal to honestly report the facts rather than spin and propaganda has been well documented - yet because it's election time, in spite of a track record that indicates the MSM is as much to blame for our downward spiral into fascism as the President himself - Democrats on both sides of the isle are buying into the havoc the MSM is creating within the Democratic party itself, which is evidenced by John McCain's rise in the polls which indicates he is polling ahead of Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama. It's obvious I don't understand the politics of Presidential elections as I watch the GOP pull ahead on matters the public has already condemned LINK, however, as long as we give credence to a MSM that has actively hid the truth from the American people for seven long years and are hell bent on distracting the public from the real issues this nation faces while they create havoc within the Democratic Party - I see the ultimate consequence of our infighting resulting in another loss to the warmongers that are intent on destroying America. Firedoglake published an Op-Ed that reveals the MSM's influence on the Presidential campaign as it pertains to the Obama/Clinton debacle - and when we realize that much of the indignation and hyperbole of this controversy has been created and fanned by the MSM, we should also understand that it's not by accident, but meant to influence the election and help to place another GOP candidate in the White House!

The Media’s Race Problem

When Barack Obama gave his speech on "A More Perfect Union", the public was treated to something different and almost hypnotic; a Politician who didn't duck the issue, "disown" his pastor for remarks that shocked many Americans, but instead - Senator Obama faced the controversy head-on and attempted to bridge the gap of racial divisiveness that often muddies the waters whenever someone plays the "race card" and responded with a message that resonated with truth and power! Mr. Obama uttered words that are often whispered about or spoke of in the privacy of our homes, black and white; for once, the 600 Lb Gorilla that co-exists in millions of families across this country was acknowledged and for all practical purposes, was laid bare for all of us who have open minds to examine and analyze.

I read an article in Time Magazine online that has me questioning their intent. From what I'm reading in news accounts on the Internet, the facts don't agree with the article. In fact, in this author's opinion, the article, by omitting facts that would incriminate the MSM themselves, are misrepresenting this issue as they have so many before and rather than news - I believe it's propaganda, telling people that the majority of Americans don't seem to care - which by every poll that's been taken demonstrates that the people, by a vast majority, believe this country is headed in the wrong direction and are extremely dissatisfied with our government!

Yesterday, I finally chose a candidate and have decided to support Barack Obama. Neither Obama nor Clinton are perfect and each has questions that need to be answered, however, Mr. Obama has demonstrated that he can galvanize the country and possibly unite us in a positive manner we haven't witnessed in years - and we're long overdue to come-together and solve our problems and issues in a concerted spirit of healing the country. I do have some questions in regard experience, however, a good President is advised by a Cabinet that is hand-picked and "supposed" to be representative of the foremost experts in their fields. Presidents are sometimes made by the expertise of their advisor's, as there are too many issues for one man to review in-depth himself. I believe the Obama Cabinet will adhere to those standards rather then partisan appointments such as we witnessed in the Bush administration, and now that we have seen first-hand the damage of unbridled partisanship and how it distorts a President's world-view and perception of important events, I believe Obama will choose a cabinet that will represent some of the best talent America has to offer.
