This is an ongoing series reviewing John Kerry's book, "This Moment on Earth." This book is the perfect compliment to Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth. Whereas Gore discusses the facts and figures in an easy to understand way, John Kerry's book focuses on the activism that is needed in order to reverse the cycle of Global Warming.
His book also exposes a lot of the common right-wing myths about Global Warming. The biggest myth is that we have to despair in the face of climate change and that there is no hope for the future. But we cannot know that unless we do whatever we can to reverse the cycle of climate change.
Starting with Rachael Carson and moving onward, Kerry looks at those who came before us and how they fought and won battles through the art of the possible. But Kerry does more than talk about the art of the possible -- he pushes the art of the possible to its limits as well.
