Maybe the messages are missing, and maybe some of them are recoverable. Rove's lawyer says that Rove did not intentionallay destroy evidence. That is 24 carat bullshit!
Nobody can destroy records in that many places, in a way that they cannot be recoverd, without the intention to do it.

It's like any other kind of destruction of evidence. Sure, it can be done, but not by accident. It is to be hoped that Henry Waxman and John Conyers and Patrick Leahy find a way to get some competent people in a position to print out the WHite House dirty linen. Maybe even some Republicans who pretend to have some moral fiber, will also wake up -- are you listening, Arlen?

It's always a shame when you lose a few e-mails. In the high-tech world, the "dog ate my homework" excuse does not quite work. To lose an e-mail you have to work hard to destroy the evidence. So, I am shocked, shocked, I tell you, to hear that the White House has lost some e-mails!
