Great piece. You may or may not know I wrote about the LATimes piece yesterday at Dkos and is posted here also. Thanks for posting on it. There was a time when Americans were very serious about wiping out hunger in this country. It is inexcusable to live in a country that throws away so much food and have people who lack food. This is one of the easier problems to fix, it just takes commitment.
