We all know the story about how Bill Clinton had been so good for African-Americans that he was declared, by author Toni Morrison, to be 'the first black president.'

Yesterday a friend and colleague at work gave me this video of Dick Gregory from the State of the Black Union, recently held in New Orleans by Tavis Smiley.

According to CIRCLE's numbers crunched from the exit polling data last night, young voters in Mississippi came out in outstanding numbers proving once again that if you build it, they will come.

There are a lot of YouTubes I've seen making the rounds lately - all I want to post and comment on.

First, while I'm still firm in my presidential candidate of choice, I must admit that this is a pretty sweet vid for a campaign to have crafted and posted.

Can you freaking believe that yet again the most investigated Pres. in history will have to go thru this one more time ? When I read the headline all I could think is what the hell is Waxman doing ? Why is the big question right ? You won't believe the reason or maybe you will, but I didn't. File this under "what was he thinking?"

I personally love Hillary Clinton. I always have. I interned for her office when she was the First Lady. I think she is intellectually powerful, politically astute, and personally resilient.

That being said, I realize that for reasons I will probably never understand, a lot of people really dislike her (even hate her). Hillary comes with baggage… a lot of baggage. Her name recognition is her greatest asset as well as her greatest weakness, and the same can be said of her husband (who, of course, I also love).
