Jerome R. Corsi In Full
Submitted by Josh Nossiter on Fri, 08/15/2008 - 18:18.I decided to learn more about Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D. Applying the same scrupulous research techniques employed by Corsi in his several novels, I learned the following startling facts:
In his Wikipedia entry, Corsi is cited as having married for a second time in 1991. The name of his second wife: Monica Corsi. Coincidence? Or are we to recall Dick Cheney's joke about West Virginia: "There are lots of married couples there, and some of them aren't even related." But Corsi's marital adventures don't stop there. Consider: there is no further mention, not a single word, about his first wife, Joy Dugan. The entry notes that Corsi is a Roman Catholic. It's unlikely therefore that he would have divorced Dugan. And yet somehow she conveniently exits the stage in time for Corsi to marry, ahem, Corsi. Where is Joy Dugan? And what is Corsi hiding?

Don’t Puke in the Banana Suit
Submitted by Daveparts on Wed, 10/03/2007 - 11:04. Don’t Puke in the Banana Suit
By David Glenn Cox
What could I possibly mean with that title, Don’t Puke in the Banana Suit? Well, years ago I had a friend named Chris and we hung around together in a crowd of guys. Some of us who worked together and some of us were friends of friends and we partied and watched College football games together.

Upcoming Bipartisan Crime Against Peace
Submitted by populist on Mon, 09/10/2007 - 22:46.George W. Bush is about to take us deeper into the jungles of the Middle East by way of establishing his New Jonestown, a group of military bases in Iraq from where America can impart order and democracy for the region, from the Tora Bora mountains of Afghan lands to the menacing Arab neighbors that surround Israel.

The collective power of the peace movement helped the Democrats take control of Congress and turn Nancy Pelosi from Minority leader into Madam Speaker. But in May the new Congress turned its back on the peace movement, granting Bush another $95 billion for war with no timetable for withdrawal. While the Speaker of the House herself voted against the war funding, she failed to put pressure on the conservative Democrats to form a united front against another blank check for war. She also failed to effectively use her power to decide what bills would come up for a vote. In the case of both the unrestricted war funding and the expanded FISA wiretapping, Pelosi had the ability to keep the bills off the floor but refused to do so.
On The 12 Steps, Or, The Fringe Is Smarter Than The Lampshade
Submitted by fake consultant on Sun, 09/02/2007 - 03:19.Hello, I’m Fake C., and I’m a member of the Lefty Fringe.
Even though I’ve been attending these meetings for awhile, I need to better understand how I came to be in this situation, so here goes…
It all started when I was reading about this George Bush guy that was running for President. This woman who used to write about Texas politics and its quirky nature put up a series of stories that gave you the impression that there was nothing good about this guy.

Hannity's Defense of Ted Nugent's Murderous Rant Deserves More Than Just Outrage
Submitted by alaprst on Tue, 08/28/2007 - 22:32.Cross-posted from Blue Texas
Where does Sean Hannity get off with trying to treat Ted Nugent as though he is a perfectly innocent nice guy after his murderous rant against Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama?

Long Time Coming
There have been a lot of things a long time coming, haven't there?! Politically, I mean. The extreme polarization of political discussion we've seen and the gridlock it has created is close to incomprehensible to me. Things that should have been resolved years ago remain hanging over us, like a cloud, or shroud.

More spin on Norm Coleman's 'No Hope for stem cell research' bill
Submitted by The Big E on Sat, 06/09/2007 - 01:52.-- Cross-posted from mnblue.com, home of the Norm Coleman Weasel Meter --
Senator Norm Coleman (R-MN) cowrote a letter with William Hurlbut which appeared in Real Clear Politics Thursday entitled Is There a Way Forward for Stem Cell Research?. Just so you know who Dr. Hurlbut is, he's on the President's Council on Bioethics. As far as I know, this Council on Bioethics does not differ with His Shrubness on banning stem cell research. So, what do Norm and Dr. Hurlbut have to say:
