Panties for Peace: Action For Burma

cross posted at daily Kos and The Dream Antilles

Remembering Myanmar. Remembering Aung San Suu Kyi. Remembering the monks who demonstrated. Remembering the people of Burma, killed, beaten, jailed, tortured, disappeared, threatened, relocated. Remembering their struggle for freedom. Remembering the military government's unchecked repression.

Remember Burma?

I will not give another penny to Chevron ever again.

I will not be part of "Profits uber Alles"

Chevron is right smack in the middle of the violent oppression the peaceful Burmese people are suffering.

More on the flip.

Free Burma!

Free Burma!

Today, October 4th 2007, over 5000 bloggers from around the world stand together in solidarity with the brave people of Burma. I stand with them.
