I'm not saying that Georgia attacking South Ossetia (and thus, effectively, attacking Russia, since Russia had peacekeepers in South Ossetia) was predictable. That was a complete surprise to me, and - apparently - to a lot of people.

But it WAS predictable that Russia would drive the Georgians back out of South Ossetia and it was REALLY predictable that our Good King George would handle the situation with his usual tact and sensibility:

At Berlin, recently, Barak Obama (Bilderberg 2008) sang a beautiful song to the US/EU/Nato (= New World Order) alliance. At the same time, he (somewhat gently) warned that Russia would be the key enemy of this New World Order alliance (he didn't use the words "new world order"; but his buddy, Senator Hagel (Bilderberg, several times) did).

In accord with the neo-conservative mantra that "real men want to go to Tehran," speculation in Congress and the press has concentrated on war with Iran as the catastrophe most likely to unfold in the last year of the Bush Presidency. But our delusional President may have bigger plans, and his meddling in Eastern Europe has brought the United States uncomfortably close to conflict with a much more dangerous opponent than Iran.

Sometimes even a typically self-absorbed devotee of the blogosphere like me gets a glimmer that reality isn't exactly captured by whining about Time Magazine and analyzing a food-fight between Huffington and Huckabee and speculating why Obama is more Oprah-genic than Hillary.

Maybe the world isn't all about tag clouds! Maybe it's all about...

Reading back into Putin's recent political manipulations, and then, even further back, at how Putin seized, consolidated, and has used power in Russia, it is apparent that Putin will shortly seize power in Russia.

The news the MSM isn't reporting is almost criminal in their neglect of the warning they have an obligation to pass along to the American people. It seems that the Bush administration is pressing ahead with plans to implement a missile shield that Russia states will be met with retaliation:

We have had an ongoing discussion of the missile defense system as events between Russia and Bush change step by step. The last was July 2nd and events are moving ever rapidly towards the desired end of open confrontation.

At the Lobster Summit Questions were raised of course as to what either side wanted from the other. To me the question is where is the problem.

The Missile Defense System may be worthless but it is serving Bush's purpose to instigate another War to further his New world order!

I really don't know why, maybe it is the world stage of the G8 meeting. Anyway the proposals for bush's missile defense system are flying hot and heavy at this point. I know yesterday after Putin suggested putting the Missile shield in Azerbaijan, Bush immediately flew to Poland.
