The Young Soldier, The Whiskey and the Cigar: Attention Must Be Paid

Why are we here in the netroots and grassroots still fighting to get our troops out of Iraq?  Why are we exhausted and hurt from the fight in Congress over the funding of this occupation? Why do we soldier on in the Democratic party?

Col. Hunt says our Military leaders Can not Lead, Bull, Bush leads not the military!

Usually I see these books on how to fight Bush's illegal war in Iraq and my first response is disgust. This new book by Colonel Hunt is no exception. In fact I take particular umbrage to this one. Hunt said this war is about real people out dying and getting blown apart because of a few incompetents. Our generals, the most senior of the military, are to blame for this.

Last night I was watching the News Hour on PBS. There was a report on who exactly is bearing the brunt of our illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Yeah, I know this is very old and boring news. They're sacrificing, I'm not. Yada, yada, yada.
