Consequentialism refers to those moral theories which hold that the consequences of a particular action form the basis for any valid moral judgment about that action. Thus, from a consequentialist standpoint, a morally right action is one that produces a good outcome, or consequence.

The Easter Story Your Mother Didn't Tell You

 I don’t know what you learned from your parents about the Easter story that is at the center of Christianity’s “highest holy day,” but I’ll wager that it was probably not the one you are about to read. It might prompt an “Oh yes, that’s the Easter story I learned,” but I doubt that it will.
