the Washington Post has a "bizarre" http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2007/7/2/12719/49010 attempted ode to George W. Bush.  I plowed through the Post article this morning, even though it was blatantly an attempt to achieve so-called journalistic balance, by 'balancing' the relatively unblinking appraisal of Cheney that appeared in the same publication last week, with a fawning take on Bush this week. I wrote this to the author, Peter Baker:
