If you know the username of the person you want to send the private message to click the "my account " link under navigation in the left sidebar. This will open your home page. Click the "write private Message" link. This will open the "private message menu" page. Either type in the username of the member or choose one of your contacts. Then type the message just as if you were sending any other e-mail. The message is sent to the members' in box immediately. If you do not know the members username find it under a post title or comment he or she posted. If you click the members username it will take you to their home page where you can send them a message by clicking the "write private message" link. If you send the message from the members home page the username is filled in for you.
