Just a few observations to a few nagging present issues. Ok, maybe they’re rants as well, but where is reason in the White House?
#1. This Republican argument that these new armored vehicles, for our troops, are not getting built until the President gets a Bill from Congress he can sign.
Hey Congress – create an "Appropriations Bill," specifically for these armaments. Wherever the war on terror takes place – there will always be roadside bombs – that’s the new wave in battling ground troops now, and into the near future. Put the president in the uncomfortable position of vetoing a bill specifically designed to provide our troops with these newest generation armored vehicles. In all likelihood, they they're being built has not been delayed, and that this is just another Carl Rove scam to bully "America’s Will," into kissing Bush’s ass, again...

#2. Don’t tell the enemy when you’re going to leave – it’s "Surrender," & they will just wait for us to leave before all hell breaks out.
Hey! We’ve lost control of this country already. Do you really think we can just secretly leave Iraq – ever, without someone noticing??? It’s ludicrous to presume we would leave Iraq without anyone noticing. There is no way to leave with, "Victory." There is no real definition of victory when you have a puppet government that has no power to do anything – except to survive in the relative comfort & safety of the "Green Zone." Someday, it will become the "Red Zone," as symbolic to Iraq as the bringing down of Hussein’s statue in the City’s Center when Baghdad fell.

#3. Why do so many Republicans assume the "Spread-Eagle" position on Bush’s failed policy so they can keep being kicked in the nuts – over and over again?
In the 2008 Elections – they will surely go down in flames twice as bad as in 2006 - to a point they may not recover for decades. American’s are beginning to see that our leaders who don’t believe in Evolution, and talk to "God" when making decisions - instead of listening to the "American Voice," and the true, "Winds of Reason," then, they are as bad as the terrorists, when it comes to "narrow-minded mindsets." There’s a reason Pat Robertson is not our President – yet we have his replacement – not from the "700 Club," but the guy at Heaven’s gate thinking his plans will be his pass to get through ‘em... When you put your personal religion before your responsibilities of the office of "President of the United States," you have committed treason and should be treated accordingly...

I don't know why America isn't outraged beyond rage
over the humvees alone. They should ALL be heavily armored long since. That should have been an ABSOLUTE priority as soon as the IEDs started. You telling me that with our supposed industrial power we couldn't have turned that around in no time, if W really gave a good damn about our troops?

... who can blow the hardest, the longest... It's no wonder though that they try to blow us up - I mean, "What's our mission?" We roam the streets, displace people from their homes, arrest people, we look for those who are trying to get rid of us when they all are trying to get rid of us.
Back in 2003, Author, Linda McQuaig took on Big Oil, and its role in U.S. foreign policy. In one of her book's excerpts, she traces the connections between the petroleum industry and the invasion of Iraq.
“There s something almost obscene about a map that was passed around among senior Bush administration officials and a select group of oil company executives in the spring of 2001. It doesn’t show the kind of detail normally shown on maps - cities, towns, (and) regions. Rather its detail is all about Iraq's oil. The southwest is neatly divided, for instance, into nine Exploration Blocks. Stripped of political trappings, this map shows a naked Iraq, with only its ample natural assets in view. It's like a supermarket meat chart, which identifies the various parts of a slab of beef so customers can see the most desirable….The map might seem crass, but it was never meant for public consumption. It was one of the documents studied by the ultra-secretive task force on energy headed by U.S. vice president Dick Cheney, and it was only released under court order after a long legal battle waged by the public interest group Judicial Watch.”
How do our soldiers fight that? How can we tell them they're dying because Cheney hasn't gotten his Prime Cuts of Iraq's oil yet ?
