There is something in the air, so tangible you can almost feel it, and those Americans who are awakening by the millions are beginning to understand the Bush administration and some of our largest corporations are enemies of the people, not their allies or friends! Even the Mainstream News Media, who has been subservient to the Bush administration, is beginning to rebel, not significantly enough to bring about their instant downfall, but in graduated steps – almost if they were attempting to gauge whether their actions will be heralded or condemned by the public. I have stated over and over again they have betrayed the people by publishing propaganda and refusing to address the many issues that are destroying this nation – but even I sense the beginning of change, and in these days when people are awakening, Bush and his minions pose a greater danger than when they held an impenetrable hold on the MSM and the majority of the people. Animals and criminals, especially when they are cornered, always pose the greatest danger, and in these days of America’s re-awakening, those at the helm of power are becoming desperate to protect themselves from arrest and prosecution. Now, more then ever, it’s a matter of our survival as a nation to keep up the pressure and laud those who are showing the courage to fight the most dangerous enemy this nation has faced in over 200 years!
When I read that the "FBI has been putting together a case of War Crimes against other departments and the Bush-Cheney Administration", I felt the first glimmer of salvation for my country in seven long years, and hopefully, this will be the beginning of the end for those who have refused to abide by our Constitution and the rule of law:

NEWSWEEK magazine (May 20, 2008) kicked off the story last week that a 370-page government report reveals the FBI has been putting together a case of War Crimes against other departments and the Bush-Cheney Administration.
The NEWSWEEK reporters, Mark Hosenball and Michael Isikoff, wrote, “The long awaited 370-page Justice report on the abuse issue may be the most authoritative public account yet on the fierce internal struggles within the Bush administration over how terror suspects should be interrogated. The report states that one FBI agent who witnessed the CIA's interrogation of Zubaydah in the spring of 2002 was so upset that he protested it amounted to ‘borderline torture.’ But when Office of Inspector General investigators in Jan. 2007 sought to question Zubaydah (who by then had been transferred from an overseas agency ‘black’ site to Guantanamo Bay), the CIA's acting general counsel, John Rizzo, refused to let them do so, the report states.” These NEWSWEEK authors had opened their piece by stating, “The CIA last year refused to permit Justice Department investigators to question a key Al Qaeda detainee about what happened to him in the agency's custody, including reports that he was subjected to ‘waterboarding’ and other abusive interrogation methods.” In summary, that NEWSWEEK article, entitled “Borderline Torture”, sought to make a statement that there exist a “fierce internal struggles within the Bush administration over how terror suspects should be interrogated”. The announcement of the release of this government report sent sparks of interest through the internet last week. INTERNET INTEREST IN “WAR CRIMES BUSH CHENEY” Within days of the government’s report being issued, the buzz on the net had reached fever pitch with GOOGLE searches claiming the key words “War Crimes Bush Cheney” had reached 3,080,000 hits and YAHOO running even higher as 12,100,000. Much of this heavy traffic was from blogs, but this one news article from the WORLD SOCIALIST WEBSITE was a fairly well written summary of the FBI-related report and general war crime interest in the USA. The piece has been copied widely on the web. It is entitled, “Terror: Watch: FBI Files Indict Bush, Cheney and Co. as War Criminals”. http://www.wsws.org/articles/2008/may2008/fbi-m23.shtml Bill Van Aukin was the author of that piece who noted: “Consider the account of the interrogation of Mohamedou Ould Slahi, a Mauritanian national who was arrested by his own government, turned over to US forces and brought to Guantánamo in 2002:“He was left alone in a cold room known as ‘the freezer,’ where guards would prevent him from sleeping by putting ice or cold water on him...“He was subjected to sleep deprivation for a period of 70 days by means of prolonged interrogations, strobe lights, threatening music, forced intake of water, and forced standing.“He was deprived of clothing by a female interrogator;“Two female interrogators touched him sexually and made sexual statements to him;“Prior to and during the boat ride incident, he was severely beaten.”
WHEN WILL IMPEACHMENT BEGIN IN THE USA? Currently, if one puts in the five key words “War Crimes Bush Cheney Impeachment”, YAHOO shows nearly 6 million hits. Meanwhile, Google hits number almost 1,700,000. The time appears to be ripe to take the media’s focus this summer of 2008 to Washington D.C. and aim for impeachment now. The NEWSWEEK authors indicated clearly in their piece on the recently released federal report that there is furious infighting among and within branches of government by many officials in key positions who have monitored the comings and goings of the White House and intelligence branches --operating from its sphere. This means that if proper war crimes cases are filed immediately, there will be numerous government officials ready to pass on findings and research on war crimes carried out under the watch of President George W. The number of books and other publications which have detailed the crimes of the Bush administration stagger the mind, especially when constitutional scholar after scholar have written and shown in great detail the crimes perpetrated by this administration while our Congress still refuses to impeach what many believe are war criminals that seem to be in a race to match the atrocities of Hitler and Stalin. There is no longer any doubt they are guilty, and even President Bush has implicated himself by his own words - yet a cowardly and complicit Congress still refuses to uphold their oath of office and continues to enable this criminal administration by "looking the other way" when the entire world is now aware of their crimes!
The most recent addition to these publications deserves special consideration; Vincent Bugliosi, whose qualifications and expertise as a Prosecutor with Los Angeles County is almost legendary, has written a new book entitled: "The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder" When you look at his resume, how can we ignore these charges from a former Prosecutor who has proved himself to excel at criminal prosecutions and has a record that borders on excellence!

The greed of corporate America is breaking our Middle-class and sentencing the poor and disadvantaged to misery and hunger; the so-called "Oil Crisis" is not a matter of supply and demand, but brought about by speculators and complicity of the White House to further the profits of the oil industry, who are without doubt or question, gouging the American people and lining their pockets while the rest of the world reels from increases in gas, heating oil, and even the food we attempt to keep on our tables. CNN, while it may not have been their intention, published an article today that demonstrates the price of oil is being driven not by supply and demand, but by greed and corruption! For the first time in our history, the public is using less gas and oil then ever, while oil prices continue to soar. When we understand that compared to last year, the US consumer has driven BILLIONS of miles less than last year, even the village idiot can figure out it's not supply and demand driving oil prices, but greed and corruption!
As gas goes up, driving goes down
The Department of Transportation said figures from March show the steepest decrease in driving ever recorded.
Compared with March a year earlier, Americans drove an estimated 4.3 percent less -- that's 11 billion fewer miles, the DOT's Federal Highway Administration said Monday, calling it "the sharpest yearly drop for any month in FHWA history." Records have been kept since 1942. (Emphasis added.)
The Energy Information Administration says gas consumption for the first three months of 2008 is estimated to be down about 0.6 percent from the same time period in 2007. MORE
Our Congress appears to be going through the motions and recently grilled oil executives, however, nothing of substance was accomplished, and from our Congress, most of us expected nothing more than sounds bytes and a chance to score political point as they did nothing to alleviate the suffering we all feel as gasoline prices are raising the prices for everything we purchase. In Germany, they do understand that speculators and greed are the real culprit, and instead of the US leading the way, once again it is the Europeans that are addressing the real issues that are destroying the global economies:

While the United States pays nothing more than lip-service to the growing gas crisis, other nations are attempting to stop the speculation on oil and help to alleviate prices that are wrecking havoc on the global economy. Another telling factor is that our strategic oil reserve which is 97% full, and even with a full reserve, the Bush administration refuses to allow any of it to be used to help lower gas prices. They state that's not what it's for, even though past Presidents have used it to help lower gas prices when similar circumstances brought about high prices at the pump; it is also telling that Bush's Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman also denies that our high oil prices are due to speculators, and as usual, they refuse to hold the oil companies and speculators accountable for anything - evidence that fascism is the controlling factor in our government, not the health and welfare of the poeple!
Is It Time To Tap U.S. Oil Reserves?
(CBS/AP) With gas hitting a new high almost daily, some members of Congress pleaded with the energy secretary to release the nation's 700 million barrel emergency stockpile, reports CBS News correspondent Nancy Cordes.
His response - that's not what it's for.
"The strategic petroleum reserve is meant to be there as a protection for the American people," said Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman.
"The American people right now are being tipped upside down at the pumps and having money taken out of their pockets," responded Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass.
Bodman also told a House of Representatives hearing that he does not believe that rampant market speculation is causing record high oil prices that reached a record $135 a barrel. He said it is a matter of supply and demand that can be traced to essentially flat global production over the last three years. MUCH MORE
As Bush and Cheney ramp up their rhetoric in an obvious run-up to war with Iran, it's more than obvious that Bush is holding off on releasing oil from the strategic oil reserve so they will have enough oil if Iran manages to shut-down the Straits of Hormuz, which they have vowed to accomplish if attacked; these are the times most of us worry about the most, and as the public and even segments of our MSM and Judicial system may be preparing to take on Bush for his criminal behavior - there appears to be a significant risk that if Bush attacks Iran, he will also declare martial law and suspend the constitution - which would insulate him from prosecution and/or impeachment.
As the population in the United States awakens and understands the crimes that have been perpetrated against the general public by Bush and his corporate cronies at home and abroad, we may face the danger from dangerous criminals that will do anything to avoid the consequences of their actions, including but not limited to declaring martial law and incarcerating hundreds of thousands of innocent Americans, if not millions! The plans have already been drawn-up and have been in place for years, and now that the forces of justice may be seeking his prosecution, America needs to understand and be aware of the danger this Presidency poses to any American that has spoken-out against his policies. Read the below article which details how this and other administrations have worked behind the scenes to diminish our rights and have plans to take away the freedom of millions whenever Bush "decides" that we are in a "state of emergency - even though it will likely be him or Cheney that fabricate or cause such an "emergency" to head-off their own prosecution and subsequent incarceration.
No, we shouldn't back-down as this fight comes to a close, but should press harder and demand accountability of the Executive Branch while we still have the ability; it is possible that Bush will suspend the constitution if he feels threatened enough by judicial or Congressional action, but how such an order would be implemented or carried out remains to be seen, and all we can hope for is that our armed services and local police forces will uphold the constitution and the rule of law, not the proclamations from a President that is obviously working outside of his jurisdiction and is in flagrant violation of our own constitution, Bill of Rights and international law.
