Diatribune

Tribes are a tool for members with common interests or agendas to organize into groups. Tribes allow for grassroots organizing on the local and state levels for promoting candidates for office or advocating specific issues. Tribes may be created strictly for social purposes like "drinking liberally". Tribes are intended to organize members not content. Tribes may offer "open" membership or may restrict membership by invitation. Any member may create a tribe by clicking "create content" under navigation in the left sidebar and clicking tribe. The "create tribe" page lets you set membership restrictions.
