The best way to crosspost is by using the rich text editor. This allows you to copy and paste content directly from the published page. It will copy text, photos, and URL links just as they appear on the web page you are copying from. To crosspost, click the "create content" link under Navigation in the left sidebar. It will open a drop down displaying the various content types. Click the content type you wish to publish and it will open a page designed specifically for that content (diatribe for political content, story for content that is not political in nature, vlog to post videos only). Most content pages have a text box to enter text. Just under the text box is a "open rich editor" link. If you click the link it opens a feature rich text editor in a pop-up window. If you haven't done so already open the URL to the post you want to copy. Be sure that you copy from the published page not from the text box where you created the content. Highlight the content you want to copy including photos and URL links. You must use the keyboard to cut and paste into the text editor. Press ctrl+C on your keyboard., orient your mouse to the upper left corner of the rich editor pop-up window then press ctrl+V. If there are a lot of photos it may take a minute for them to load. If you need to edit the content you can do so here. Please remove any special fonts you may have used if you can. Once you are satisfied with your layout, click OK in the bottom left corner of the window. This closes the text editor and places the content into the text box on the "create content" page. If you were unable to remove special fonts you can do it here by removing the tags. If you still can't do it then go ahead and publish it and it will be done by a site administrator. At this point you should add descriptive tags. Diatribune uses a hierarchal tagging system. Click the "Diatribune publishing" link under the Title box. It will open a drop down with "politics "underneath. Click "politics" and it opens a drop down with categories and tags. As you open categories either sub-categories or tags will appear. Check the box to the left of the tags you want to add. When you have completed adding tags, click preview at the bottom of the page. Check the post and click submit. In the event that you get a page error at this time do not resubmit. You should see your post immediately in the sidebar or within a couple of minutes. If you submit again it Will re-post. That is it. You are done.
