In order to use the spell checker you will need to download some additional software. The text editor uses ieSpell. You can download ieSpell here, Once it is installed on your computer the spell checker icon will work. When you first attempt to open the spell checker it will give you a message stating you need additional software and then provide a download link. That link does not work. So use the one provided here. At this time the spell checker only works with the Internet Explorer browser. We are currently working on an alternative for Firefox.
