According to three-time Pulitzer-Prize-winner Tom Friedman, the formerly starving shit-hole of India has been transformed by the miracle of globalization into a nation of software mavens, and now they tell me that those same mavens are worshipping a two-faced baby!
Call me a jingo super-patriot, but I say America can still one-up those globalized Hindu mavens with not one but two two-faced babies to worship.
When they campaign in Ohio, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama wear their "I hate NAFTA" faces, but as soon as they get back to Washington, they rotate their heads 180 degrees, brush the hair out of their free-trade faces, and vote for NAFTA-Peru. So what if 9,000,000 Peruvian workers and farmers were rioting against this monstrosity? A software empire is waiting for each and every one of them, in the slums of Lima!
So maybe the United States is falling behind in terms of economic indicators like the 500,000 child prostitutes who infest every truck-stop in India, but in terms of worshipping two-faced babies, we rule the world!
