Wounded Veterans Seeking Care

Yesterday I posted this: The 'Commander Guy' on Military Health Care, it was a video of the press conference, held yesterday, on the Military Health Care Commission.

After Bob Woodruff was blown off, at the end, from his question to the president, with that Damn Sick smirk and laugh, Woodruff had a follow up report about the Military/VA Care given.

The following is a combination of the two News Clips, from ABC News. One is of the press conference held on the 25th of July, the other is the followup report.

Wounds of War

In the middle I have a Question I would like any Candidate running against a standing Republican Congressional office holder to ask, use your own words, but I want Answers!

At the end I have what I want on peoples minds as we approach the coming elections, Especially as to the Party that held total control in the buildup of War and Throughout, until the recent elections, and were Rubber Stamping the wishes of these Neo-Cons, but Not Doing Their Jobs!!

If they were sent to fight, they are too few. If they were sent to die, they are too many!

Is 'Funding' Really For Troops?

What Happened To Funding and Oversite For Military/Veteran Care In Previous Congresses?

This week on Bill Moyers

This week on Bill Moyers Journal

As the Bush administration promotes the idea that al Qaeda is the enemy in Iraq, the Journal analyzes the facts on the ground to explore who the U.S. is really fighting. Bill Moyers gets perspective from Brian Fishman, a Senior Associate in the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point whose research focuses on the impact of the war in Iraq on terrorism globally, and Fawaz A. Gerges, the Christian A. Johnson Chair in International Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies at Sarah Lawrence College and author of the highly-acclaimed books The Foreign Enemy: Why Jihad Went Global and Journey of the Jihadist: Inside Muslim Militancy.

Bill Moyers Journal reports on the hidden spending provisions used by Congress known as earmarks - "pipelines of cash" added to legislation without any debate, public hearing or oversight - which are often used as payback for political contributions. As Congress works to put reforms in place, is it business as usual?

Bill Moyers reflects on the fall of a young soldier.
